A peal of Grandsire Triples was rung on the Foundry bells on 15th September 2016 by former and present employees to mark the centenary, this day, of the death of Private John William III Taylor. Private Taylor died in the Somme offensive and was one of three Taylor boys to be killed in World War One.

A Peal of Grandsire Triples was also rung on Monday 11th July 2016 to commemorate the centenary of the death of Second Lieutenant Arnold Bradley Taylor.

A peal of Grandsire Triples was also rung on Wednesday 3rd February 2016 to commemorate the centenary of the death of Corporal Richard Albert Farmer Lane, the only Foundry employee to be killed in World War I.
