Geraldton Cathedral Bells Dedication – Easter Day

An automatic carillon of 27 bells has been dedicated today at the Cathedral of St Francis Xavier, Geraldton, Western Australia. The former ring of eight from Godalming, Surrey have been tuned to form the bottom tones and semi tones, and nineteen new bells have been cast to complete the carillon. With a Bass Bell of 24 cwts the carillon will be hung in the two western towers, with three of the larger bells also being hung for slow swinging.
