An order has been received from Simonburn to replace one of it’s two turret bells. A replacement bell will be cast on 7th November and new fittings will be manufactured for it. The new bell will then be hung to complete the job.

This church houses the back six of an intended chime of nine, with empty pits in the bell frame to accommodate the missing bells. The PCC has now placed an order for the casting of the three missing bells. These will be tuned to match and supplied with all necessary fittings to complete the octave.
