Carlisle Cathedral, Cumbria
The Cathedral Church of the Holy & Undivided Trinity
This cathedral houses a Taylor ring of twelve, tenor 21 cwts in Eb, that were cast and installed in 1999/2000. With the development of spheroidal graphite clapper technology it has been decided that all the clappers and their crown staples will be returned to Loughborough to enable the clappers to be re-profiled and the crown staples/ join pins etc to be refurbished. It has been agreed with the cathedral that the clappers will be turned round within a 5 day period so that Sunday ringing will not be compromised.
Work competed - clappers dispatched.
