The Cathedral Church of Christ & the Blessed Virgin Mary.

United Kingdom

This cathedral houses a 24 cwt Taylor twelve (plus flat 6th) which date from 1973. An order has been placed for major work to the clappers and crown staples. All of them have been removed from the bells and brought to Loughborough. Only two of the existing clappers will be retained, the others will be replaced with new spheroidal graphite clappers with new bronze bushes and hardened steel joint pins. The crown staples will be fully refurbished before everything is returned to the bells.
