TAYLOR’S CARILLON WORK!

Although new and restored change ringing peals of bells form the most significant part of our business, carillon work also regularly features, and our engineers often travel overseas working on them. Work to reinstate the Foundry carillon has started with the casting of some of the bells, and when complete, 47 bells with a Bass bell weighing 25 cwts., will once again sing from our carillon tower. The restored carillon  tower and its bells will form the centre piece of our new courtyard entrance once the Foundry Restoration has been completed. In the past few years our wood craft department has been commissioned to build a number of claviers and another is presently under construction.
