This tower houses an 11 cwt ring of eight which were cast by Gillett & Johnston in 1912. An order has been placed to lower bells 1, 5 & 7 into their pits for the replacement of their bell seating pads, and for the manufacture and replacement of their bell bolts. The clappers and crown staples of the third and fifth bells will be returned to Loughborough for annealing and full restoration, and the rope roller box of the sixth bell will be refurbished.
