This Ruskin Mill College bell needs to be recast, so an order has been placed for the casting of a 22" bell weighing 2.5 cwts. The bell will be tuned at Loughborough and rehung on existing fittings which will be adapted to suit the new bell.

A subsequent order for a new 16" diameter bell has been placed for this charity's Sunfield Garden School at Clent, and this will be cast at the same time as the larger bell.

• The moulds for the new bells are being prepared.
