The tower of this beautiful mediaeval church houses a fine Taylor ring of twelve with a tenor bell weighing 32 cwts. Installed in a new cast iron bell frame in1946, two new Taylor trebles and a flat 6th were added to augment the ring to twelve in 2004 & 2012.
The bells are now to be lifted and their bearings cleaned/replaced as necessary. The clappers and crown staples are also to be returned to Loughborough for restoration.
This work is being undertaken week commencing 8th April.
The clappers and crown staples are at Loughborough for refurbishment.
