Hanmer, Wrexham, Clwyd, Wales - St Chad.

The tower of this church houses 17cwt Taylor six dating from 1890. A major rehang and restoration will now be undertaken. The bells will be tuned and when rehung will also be fitted with electro-magnetic hammers for automatic chiming when a team of ringers is not available.

* Frame, fittings and work to the bells nears completion in readiness for their return to Hanmer in June.

* The installation of the bell frame began on Monday 12th June.

* The bells and their fittings have been delivered to Hanmer and are being hung.
