This church houses an 11 cwt ring of six that were last rehung by Taylor's in 1947. One of the base beam's has rotted where it is fixed to the tower walls and this is affecting the structural integrity of the bell frame. The beam end will be dug out and a new beam end will be spliced and re-fixed with new mortar.
This project has been completed.
