Lechlade, Gloucestershire, The Parish Church of St Lawrence.

The tower of this church houses a 13 cwt ring of six and a Sanctus bell. The 15" Sanctus bell dates from 1796 and is the work of John Rudhall.

The Sanctus bell was in danger of falling and so has been lowered to the ground and brought to the Foundry for conservation work and the manufacture of a new bell frame and traditional fittings for swing chiming.

  • The new hardwood headstock has been manufactured.

  • The new strapwork and plate gudgeons have been made.

  • The new bell frame has been completed.
