This church houses a 14 cwt eight cast at Whitechapel between 1635 & 1736. The cupola of the tower also formerly housed a service bell that was removed many years ago.

An order has now been placed for the casting of a new 26" diameter bell, weighing 4 cwts. to replace the missing service bell. The bell will be hung for swing chiming on a cast iron headstock with counter-balanced clapper and will be swung using a linear electric motor.

  • The mould for this bell is being made

  • This bell was cast on Thursday 26th September.

  • The new cast iron headstock has been cast.

  • The bell has been tuned.

  • All is ready for dispatch.
