Scrivelsby, Lincolnshire, The Parish Church of St Benedict.

The single bell at this church is the work of Thomas I Mears of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. It has a diameter of 20" and weighs approximately 2 cwts.

The bell has been removed to Loughborough where it will be conserved and new traditional fittings for swing chiming, and a new bell frame will be manufactured before it is rehung.

• This bell has been removed and is at the Foundry.

• The bell has been cleaned by gentle sandblasting.
