Sefton, Merseyside, St Helen's Parish Church.

Major maintenance work is to be undertaken to this 11 cwt ring of eight. The bells will be lifted from their pits and their bearings will be cleaned/replaced as necessary. The clappers, crown staples, rope roller boxes, bell bolts, pads and bell wheels will be restored. The steel beam ends of the under structure of the bell frame will be dug out from the tower walls and new replacement ends welded on where needed. These will then be re-grouted into the tower walls. The entire bell frame will be cleaned and repainted to complete the works.
