The 9 cwt ring of eight in this tower is largely the work of Taylor's dating from 1958, with just the 7th bell having been cast by John Longhorne in circa 1405.
The bells will be lowered from their fittings for the insertion of new bell pads and bell bolts, and the clappers and crown staples will be returned to Loughborough for restoration.
