The single bell at this church was cast in1856 by C & G Mears of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. At present it is hung with full ringing fittings, although is not safe to be rung. The bell will be lowered by our bell hangers and be returned to Loughborough for conservation work and the removal of its cast-in iron crown staple. New fittings will be manufactured for stationary chiming. A tolling unit and electro-magnetic chiming hammer will be manufactured and fitted to the bell once it i rehung at Ash Magna.
