Croome D’Abitot, Worcestershire.
St Mary Magdelene.
This church is under the care of The Churches Conservation Trust, and houses a ring of six with a 10 cwt tenor bell. Local ringers have undertaken many repair and improvement works in recent years to bring the bells back into ringing order, and their works were highly commended by the chairman of the Churches Conservation Trust in 2015. A new set of bell ropes having recently been fitted, it was noticed that the salleys were being damaged by the under sized ringing chamber ceiling holes, so an order has been placed to core out the holes and fit new wider cast iron ceiling bosses.
Our bell hangers have completed this work.
