Glasgow, Scotland, River Clyde.

Paddle Steamer, Waverley.

United Kingdom

The Paddle Steamer, Waverley is the last sea going paddle steamer in the world, and is now owned by the National Trust. Its ships’ bell has been polished thousands of times over many years and its inscription lost definition. The inscribed letters have been re-cut by hand following the original outlines and styles, and have then been filled with durable black resin before the bell was re-polished and sent back to the ship.

  • Work has been completed and the ships' bell dispatched to The Waverley.
