The Parish Church of St Mary.
This church houses a Taylor chime of ten bells, the largest weighing 5 cwts 1 qr 15 lbs. The bells were cast and installed in 1923 as a memorial to the men of the village who died in World War I. All the bells will be supplied with electro-magnetic chiming hammers controlled by a pre-programmed Apollo Unit. The steel bell frame will be thoroughly cleaned of rust and will be restored with a two pack painting system. The manual chiming mechanisms will also be restored.
The bell frame has been cleaned and is being painted.
The chiming mechanisms are now at Loughborough for restoration.
