The 13 cwt ground floor ring of three in this tower was last rehung in a cast iron bell frame and on new fittings by Taylor’s one hundred years ago, and all is still in fine working order. Recently it has been decided that to help with the teaching of children and others a new rope guide should be manufactured and installed.
