The back five of this 11 cwt six were cast by Edward Arnold in 1784 and were rehung by Taylor’s in 1934 when the treble bell was added.
An order has been received to lift all the bells from their pits for their bearings to be cleaned/replaced as necessary. The tenor bell will be re-centred on its headstock while this work is being undertaken.
