The west end turret of this church houses two bells. The smaller, by Henry I Bagley in 1638, has a diameter of 18″, and the larger, by Thomas II Mears in 1817, has a diameter of 20″.
The turret will be repaired and the bells will be removed to Loughborough for conservation, and for the manufacture of all new traditional fittings for swing chiming –Â including new hardwood headstocks, traditional iron strapwork, plate gudgeons and bearings, and new traditional hardwood bell wheels.
* This project is in progress.
* These bells are at Loughborough.
