The 10 cwt ring of six in this steeple is the work of Mears & Stainbank and dates from1875. The bells were rehung on new fittings by Eayre & Smith in 1992 in their original two tier oak frame.

An order has now been received to remove the entire installation from the tower for a major restoration. A new two tier cast iron bell frame seated on hardwood base timbers will be manufactured and installed, and all the 1992 fittings will be fully refurbished before the ring is rehung.
