The single bell at this church is the work of C & G Mears of Whitechapel, and weighs a little over 3.5 cwts. Taylor’s rehung the bell in 1963 and provided an automatic chiming system of the electro-mechanical type. After more than 60 years of continuous use, the electro-magnetic hammer needs replacing, so this work will be undertaken.
