The steeple of this church houses a 9 cwt ring of six, the work of Taylor’s in 1878. After internal renovation works inside this church were carried out a few years ago the ladder access to the ringing chamber from the ground floor was removed. An order has been received to design and manufacture a new companion way ladder to restore the access to the ringing chamber, and for other ladders and platforms to be designed and installed from the ringing chamber to the bells.
