The 5 cwt ring of six in the steeple of this church was created in 2002 when Hayward Mills Associates augmented the 1859 Taylor three with three treble bells, also cast by Taylor’s. All new fittings were manufactured and and extension to the wooden bell frame completed in galvanised steel.
Maintenance work will now be undertaken to keep things in good order. The installation will be serviced, and the belfry cleaned. The wooden bell frame will be treated with preservative and one stay replaced. The cast iron components will be cleaned and painted..
