The Williams & Jefferies 22 cwt eight in this tower still hang on their LLewellyn & James fittings with wooden headstocks dating from 1909.An order has been placed for the fitting of new gudgeons and bearings into the gudgeon boxes of the trebles – with the bearing being housed in our cast iron bearing housings.
The bells will be lowered and rehung locally and the parts brought to Loughborough for refurbishment.
