This church is now in private ownership, and its 16″ diameter bell is to be rehung for swing chiming with all new traditional fittings.
The bell will be cleaned and conserved and its argent will be removed. A new seating pad will be cast on its crown and it will be rehung on a new hardwood headstock with traditional strapwork, plate gudgeons and roller bearings housed in cast iron bearing housings. A new hardwood bell wheel will be manufactured, together with clapper and crown staple.
