The effect of salt in the air has caused severe rusting of the iron parts of the fittings of the single bell that hangs in a turret. The bell, cast by Matthew O’Byrne of Dublin in 1925, has a diameter of 25″, and weighs approximately 3.5 cwts.

The clapper, crown staple and main centre bolt have been sent to Taylor’s for restoration/replacement.

This project has been completed.
