An order has been placed to lower the Taylor School Bell from its frame for display elsewhere in the school. The bell will first be taken to Loughborough for cleaning by gentle sandblasting, and for lead blacking before being returned for display.
* The bell and its fittings have been removed to Taylor’s for restoration.
