The Ministry of Fisheries has ordered a Memorial Bell to be cast to commemorate those lost at sea around the islands. The 24″ bell, weighing 3 cwts, will be hung dead for chiming by internal clapper. The order also includes the manufacture of a custom designed hanging structure which is to be constructed in marine grade stainless steel to withstand the salt sea air..
