Our engineers removed the bells from Manchester Cathedral yesterday and transported them to the Foundry.
This is the start of a major restoration that will see the bells rehung in a new bell frame and three additional bells cast to augment the peal to a ring of twelve with an additional semi-tone bell to allow less experienced ringers to learn their craft.
