The tower of this church houses a 12 cwt ring of six, the work of five different founders ranging from 1671 – 1926. The bells remain in a ringable condition, but the P.C.C. has ordered an automatic chiming system to be manufactured and fitted so the bells can be sounded when a team of ringers is unavailable.
Electro-magnetic hammers will be manufactured together with a programmable Apollo Unit and these will be installed.
