Tom was a great supporter of Taylor’s – he loved the sound of Taylor bells and determined to have a complete Taylor ring in his home tower at Great Urswick, Cumbria.
After many years of hard work and fund raising his dream was fulfilled, though sadly he did not live to see it.
On Saturday 24th October the complete Taylor ring of six was dedicated by the Rural Dean of Furness, Reverend Brian Streeter, and fittingly Tom’s name was cast in his memory one one of the new bells.
