Tushingham, Cheshire, The Parish Church of St Chad.

This church houses an 11 cwt Taylor six with bells, frame and fittings dating from 1897. After 130 years of service a project to keep things in good order will now be undertaken. The front four bells will be lowered into their pits and their cast iron headstocks will be removed to Loughborough for the fitting of new gudgeons, bearings and cast iron housings. All the clappers and crown staples will be removed and will be fully refurbished. and a new stay and slider will be fitted to the tenor bell before the bells are rehung..
